Brandon Webster

Brandon Webster has coached for nearly 20 years to include Fastpitch, Baseball and managing an adult slow pitch travel team across the U.S. In 2008, he started his journey coaching competitively at a high level through 13U travel Baseball with a Baltimore Orioles scout in Baltimore, MD and transitioned to fastpitch softball in 2014 when he was hired to coach High School softball for the Oakland Military Institute in Oakland, CA. He led the Varsity team to 2 North Coast Section playoff appearances in 5 years and was the winningest coach in school history. Fun Facts about Coach: He is an Officer in the United States Coast Guard (USCG) and has proudly served for the past 17 years with retirement on the horizon. He holds a Masters in Science Management with a concentration in HR Management. He is a proud father of 4 daughters. He umpired for 3 years. He managed/played with the USCG Slow pitch Travel Softball team and took 3rd place in Military Worlds held in Las Vegas in 2016. He has coached softball in 3 states (California, Hawaii, and Ohio) and baseball in 3 states (Alabama, Maryland, and Arkansas). Coaching Philosophy: Teach the WHY! Moving around the United States and coaching in different regions has taught me the importance of teaching the WHY. It’s my job as a coach to not only build on skill but to build the IQ of players. Players who understand the WHY are in a better position to excel!
